Ricky White @ Shrine Game

He was a solid DB. We would have loved to retain him.

But, since he’s not a Rebel anymore (in my opinion), I’m glad Ricky burned him.
Yeah he burned him but I would not be surprised to hear his name called in one of the 7 rounds come April! We still have ways to go to hear one of our guys in the secondary get drafted!

Keep that same energy over the next two seasons on the basketball court when DJT comes into the Mack and drops 25 on our Rebels. Our frickin’ luck it will happen with him wearing a UA or SDSU jersey. Maybe UCLA so he can team with Andrews in the back court. That wouldn’t be so bad……….

Not doubting that he can/will. I just don't consider players "Rebels" once they leave for other programs. Call me old school, closed minded, whatever.

If I saw one of them on the street I wouldn't start a fight. I just wouldn't reminisce about his time here.

Such a different time in college sports. For me it would depend on what the player accomplished while at UNLV. I miss the old days and the (forced) loyalty to a school, following a player from freshman to senior, etc., but that time is long gone and we have what we have today. For DTJ as an example, I will always consider him a Rebel. He could have gone anywhere but chose to follow his legacy and try to help rebuild the UNLV program. Can’t put the entire blame on him for the program failing to reach those goals. He’s given two years of his college time to UNLV. I hope he stays and I’ll be disappointed if he leaves but won’t blame him for wanting to accomplish more while in college.

Ricky White didn't play. Like a lot of other players, they go through the week at practice and show people what they can do, then pull out of the game to avoid injury prior to the combine.
I saw that Jackson Woodard just got an invite but is Ricky White going to the combine?

If Jackson Woodard cand bulk up another 18 pounds and get him on roids, I like his chances.

He reminds me of Bruschi who wasn't big or especially fast. But he played fast because of how hard he played and how quickly he could defenses. I could see him not getting a whole lot bigger and still making it in the NFL.
