A long shot but worth the attempt. It would be a grand slam home run, even if he does not stay long. It sets the bar for the future and shows the fans and Big12 that you are serious. If it happens, better have a large buyout.

Large buyouts have to come with large guarantees or large budget for staff hiring. Meaning, unlv would have to guarantee probably the entire contract or guarantee a couple million for staffing.

Hell, reach out to Mack Brown. He's 73 and may want to end his coaching career on ez-mode. He certainly doesn't need the money so could take less for less stress of the super conference schools

I always hope, but don't expect. Especially with my Rebels. I m a lot of bit too emotionally attached and invested. Arguably, this would be an upgrade from Odom.
