When should we expect to know who will and will not return? Is this something that will just develope over the next few weeks or is there a cut off date of sorts?

Going by who hasn't announced an intention of transferring this is what our roster might look like:
T.Woodbury
J.Green
B.Coupet
T.Beck
D.Sljivancanin
L.Bangai(he's still with us right?)

The good thing is that the twitter account of Hardy still shows UNLV, and I haven't seen anything that puts him at another university.

This is an example of when no news is good news. The longer we don't hear about a player leaving, the more time the have to consider the pros and cons. Last time, the search went on and on and the players had a lot of time let the uncertainty about the future force their hands. This time, they have a person sitting in the head coaches office that they can talk with about their options and their futures.

I am optimistic that when the dust settles, we will have a substantially better roster than Menzies had during his first year. Go Rebels.

Agree - no news is good news in this case.

Ntambwe is on an official visit to UConn this weekend, and that is definitely bad news. It sounded like Juiston was on a visit to San Diego this week.

Since nothing has come out about the rest of the guys "in the transfer portal" that is encouraging. They have all summer to transfer but the clock is ticking on available roster spots at other schools.

National signing day is April 17th and (as I put together and posted in an earlier thread) there is a very limited recruiting calendar between now and then. The "RECRUITING PERIOD" ends today other than the weekend of April 12th:

Until March 31; Apr 11(evening)-Apr 14
RECRUITING PERIOD - Authorized athletics department staff may make in-person,off-campus recruiting contacts and evaluations.

April 1-3
QUIET PERIOD - In-person recruiting contacts may be made only on the college’s campus. No in-person, off-campus contacts or evaluations may occur.

April 4-11; April 15-18

DEAD PERIOD - No in-person recruiting contacts or evaluations, and official and unofficial visits by recruits to the college’s campus are not permitted

Just looking through and reading into some of the things I've seen on social media, I think Hardy is probably staying. His family is out here and I believe someone posted a picture of him at some HS showcase/game/event thing over the weekend with his brother and he was wearing UNLV gear. Might me nothing, but its certainly not negative.

I also read some things that give me the impression that there's a good chance Diong is planning on staying. Something about a person asking him on Instagram if he is staying and Diong replied with a picture of Tarkanian Court. Again, nothing definitive, but appears to be more positive.

My gut feeling is that Ntambwe is probably gone. Same for Juice (especially since he won't even have to sit out). I think Woodbury probably stays because he's local and he'd be a good fit for the new system.

I don't think Trey ever entered his name in the transfer portal but it's nice to hear confirmation he's committed.
