As a team, we are 4th Nationally in shooting percentage. Should be great.
But as a team our guards are shooting only 37% in Conference play. We shoot a high team percentage for the year because early on McCoy and Juiston were devastating when they got the ball low.
Not working as well in conference. Until our guards can make plays the defenses will be able to continue to collapse on McCoy and Juiston and gang rebound.
As a comparison Reno backcourt is shooting over 45%. (1st four conference games)
Duke backcourt is shooting over 47%.(1st four conference games)
Against new Mexico look for our backcourt to make shots early. If we can start doing that everything else should fall in place. If they don't look for a hard night.
