I’ll be honest I never really liked the Lakers but I did like Kobe Bryant. So what do you guys think adjusted for inflation. The last time that a team was sold for that magnitude was when Jerry Jones bought the Dallas Cowboys.

Keep $1 Billion ( Use 50 mil for UNLV NIL )

1. Fund 100 charter boys high schools in underprivileged areas. Run them with strict discipline. Free to attend. Concentrate on stem and vocational training. Start their own sports leagues to compete against each other ( Cost to build and run for 10 years - $ 3.5 billion. )

2. Open 100 free clinics in underprivileged areas. ( rural and urban ) $ 25 million each to open and $ 20 million annually each to run for 10 years. ( $ 4.5 Billion )

3. The remaining $ 1 billion would be invested and the returns would fund business start-ups. Applicants chosen by a board of business leaders who brought themselves up by bootstraps.

The Lakers are my team. Always, liked them when they had Kareem and Magic in the 1980 NBA Finals.
I am a less a fan of the Lakers with LeBron James in it.
I read, that the Lakers are now the number 2 most expensive sports franchise in the world behind the Dallas Cowboys.

I like Jeannie, but the brains of the family went when Jerry died. Don't even get me started on Jim. Pelinka? GTFOH with that dude. The club was ran by a bunch idiots.

Absolutely, agree 100% with everything you wrote. The Lakers are in very good hands. The Dodgers were a dumpster fire when Walter bought them, the LAkers are no where near that. Wonder if Giannis has made a call to him yet?
