Listen, I don’t like the guy because of the whole Covid screw up from top to bottom. But you want to talk about resilience … nobody has been as persecuted as this guy, fairly at times, very unfairly most times. I was trying to get information and listened to a little of KNPR, my stupidity, they quickly put the blame on the Republican party talking about President Trump and his conspiracy theories and how he would use this to his advantage. They then talked about how the Republican party was already making this political while the Democrats were giving best wishes to President Trump. Only a very small portion of the time spent talking about the one death, two in critical condition or President Trump. After 5 minutes I had turned off KNPR which has shown why most of us do not waster our time on public radio.

I wish the best to the family of the person who died as well as those in critical condition.

I think it’s several fold. I don’t trust media at all. I don’t trust either side, every end is justified no matter the cost. You can get ultra conspiratorial and it has more weight because both sides are so without morals and decency.

Dems want Biden out. Now does a psycho Republican take out Biden (psych repub being a psycho dem posing as a repub). Why did the SSA have it measured before the shot and they let the shots go? There have been plants all over the place. So much showmanship. All it does is keep the populace at each others throats, which, I feel and have always felt, has been the point. This isn't meant to create a liberal versus conservative talking point but wasn't it Obama who changed some law to make it where "news" shows can express opinions and not facts, leading to what we have now? I remember hearing this years ago and thinking that it couldn't be good, and we see what it's developed into. Bring back the Walter Cronkite reading of news and (what we know to be) facts. Also, journalists from both sides need to ask hard hitting questions, not just being propaganda with "Here's a softball question for you since I want to be your friend."

What is sad is from news stories one of the local cops did go and check the roof and noticed the sniper was pointing the gun towards him so he ducked back down the ladder. If he had even shot a bullet in the air this would have never happened. A much better job of security and training needs to be done in the future.

Again … it’s one of those things that doesn’t seem “organic”. It doesn’t unfold “naturally”. This was more than some skittlehead ultra lib taking a shot. Too many other questions.

To me it was maybe staged or it was a much deeper planned effort … with everything … all that glitters is not gold … to much ai, too much immorality, too much greed, too much power, too much elitism, too little regard for the 99.99% … I swear to God this feels like the real life Truman Show.
