Scary scene in a game at North Carolina State today. In a game between the Wolfpack, and South Carolina State, a senior guard for SC St named Ty Solomon collapsed. His heart had stopped. For those old enough to remember Loyola-Marymount star Hank Gathers, it brought chills, evoking a true sports tragedy.
Thankfully, the EMT’s at the arena were able to revive Solomon after a brief period, and he appears to be relatively better. After retreating to their locker room to discuss and pray, the SC State players decided to continue with the game. But it puts things in perspective.
And now, let’s beat the crap out of Arizona!
