This UNM team doesnt throw at all. Yes they have the stupid option but cmon. Fire the Defensive coach....there is no reason for allowing huge running yardage

The option is simple math. It works every time if the defensive players can't get off blocks. The game plan was right and we had players in the right position but the D-line either dosent trust their teammates to be in the right position or they just forget their are other players on the field. 15-20 times the tackles were in the right position but hesitated and bit on the QB. That's all he needed to see and the pitch went outside for big yardage. This one was not on the coaches. It's the players.
