Many of the new players have arrived or are in the process of arriving in town. Cody Doolin, Jerome Seagears, and Jordan Cornish are already here or will be here by the time the weekend is over. Goodluck Okonoboh will arrive early next week. Ben Carter and Rashad Vaughn already live in Vegas. Dwayne Morgan and Patrick McCaw will arrive just before summer session three, which begins July 14th.
Still no official word on UNLV's first round opponent in the Coaches vs Cancer tournament in Brooklyn.
Starting in mid June, UNLV, along with every other college, is allowed six hours of weights and conditioning and two hours of full team practice per week. That will run for eight weeks.
Still no official word on Deville Smith's final destination. He may transfer closer to his home in Mississipi to finish his career or he may attempt to play somewhere professionally.
