All the winners scored 80 or more points. It looks like, based on those games, that the MWC is playing at a tempo that is good for the rebels.

As I suggested in my thread about kenpom’s rankings, the Aztecs are ripe for the taking. Dutcher is no Steve Fisher. They can enjoy their upset of Gonzaga, but there’s obviously no consistency.

It reminds me of the Rebels 2014 victory over Arizona ranked #3 in the nation at the time. A nice win, to be sure, but UNLV went on to an unremarkable 18-14 season. So, a great win, but not nearly enough, as the season played out.

I suspect that SDSU is headed for a similar fate...
