From what I understand 3* QB Mason Quandt is scheduled to be at spring practice and will be checking out the school. His other offers are from Ivy League schools.

The reason he has Cornell and UNLV both listed is that the coach who offered him at Cornell is the new coach at UNLV.

Cornell is pretty much the only other well thought of program. UNLV and Cornell butt heads over more than few students of Hospitality.

I find myself saying this about every QB we are recruiting (because they are all talented) but I want this kid. Great touch on the ball and has a high football IQ. I just wonder if that IQ is from a public or private school..

15 years ago, I remember Cornell was #2 in hospitality. Not sure if it is anymore, but I wouldn't think that its like "JC to Notre Dame in football"

Remember I 'am old and will say they competed for students in my day. Cornell has many graduates serving the east coast. Glad to see UNLV is #1 in the world, things are as they should be in the world of Hospitality.

I think the biggest claim to fame for Cornell football was RB Ed Marinaro finishing runner-up to Pat Sullivan for the '71 Heisman. Marinaro played about 3-4 years with the Vikings, and a couple single seasons elsewhere. Acted on Hill Street Blues for several years. I know this stuff only because I'm a longtime Vikings fan (I know how to take a gut punch).
