It's a bummer that he spent 4 or 5 years here while the program, other than this season, was in maybe the worst state of its history... then when there is finally success, he doesnt/isn't able to stick around for the bowl game. That sucks.

No idea if that is quicker than usual, but it seems fast. Wish CR nothing but success. Hope he lands at a place where he can be featured and have a solid bowl season in 2024
No room for him next year. Green, Burrell incoming freshman will get some/bunch of carries.
Reese is an interesting player/situation.
He had some really nice moments last year. A fair amount of people covering the team thought Arroyo didn't utilize him enough. He averaged 7.2 yards a carry. Granted it was on only 58 carries so a couple long runs skews that a bit.
For comparison Jet averaged a solid 4.7 on double that number carries.
Reese had Chuck in front if him last season so it's understandable why he saw a limited workload I guess.
He probably had a sit down with the coaches and found out that his role next season wouldn't be increasing much given the return of Jet, incoming Burrell and Green and most likely a transfer incoming. Courtney could be a starter at a tier lower Div I football, most likely and since he's not going to be playing professionally, you probably want to see if you can get a small NIL transfer bonus.
