JUCO Recruiting not happening

I know its the quiet period for most recruiting, but the UNLV staff sure has been silent on the JUCO level.
I thought we would have several high profile JUCO transfers this year at various positions.

Maybe I'm over doing it, but thought we would have some good surprises.

Mid Year guys can still sign up to Jan 12 I believe and if they are a spring grad they will be coming on visits the weekend of 1/14-1/28 with the remaining high school targets the staff is after.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see the staff target a 5th year transfer, that fits a need on the defensive side of the ball, like D End or Safety/CB to help with depth/youth at those positions.


They have targeted some quality players and lost on guys like Luke, Edwards. We have addressed needs at Safety with Gibbs and at DE with Roger Mann. Rominger comes in at LB to help add depth to what is now an overall young group.
Acosta joins what should be a very solid O line. Best part of these 4 is all of them will take part in spring which will help get them acclimated.
