Seton Hall edged DePaul at DePaul 72-39. DePaul is 3-17. They were a national power in late 70's and 80's. I sometimes think Unlv could not be any worse, then you see DePaul and realize things could be worse.

We may not be DePaul but we’re definitely on that track last few decades. Post Rice firing accelerated the train.

You do realize that we are a closer example to DePaul and San Francisco than we are to most other schools, right?

Their last NCAA appearance was 2003-4. We have been 6 times since then. USF appeared two years ago, but it was the first appearance sine 1997.

They fired their head coach mid-season. Not sure why, but if it's due to losses then this should come back to haunt them, or at least you'd think it would.

In November I was in Chicago at the Bar at Gibsons in the Viagra Triangle having a Sunday Funday/Watching NFL games.

My wife was out shopping on the Mile and came to join me, when she sat down she said isnt that the Oregon Coach behind us? I looked and it was Tony Stubblefield an assistant under Altman and at that time head coach of DePaul.

So I went over said hi, and we talked about some things, he asked if I went to Oregon and I told him no, UNLV. He talked about watching Tarks teams back in the day. I asked if by any chance he knew Evric, and he pulled up his phone and showed me that he has been texting with him earlier that day, then says lets Facetime him. So I FaceTime Evric as Im standing with Stubblefield and Evric is like how the F do you guys know each other and where are you at?

I asked him how things were going at DePaul, he told that they had a lot of work to do. So I went back to my bar seat and look up his record and turned to my wife and said I dont think he will be around much longer, which obviously he wasnt.
