Based on the numbers Hardy put up in high school averaging 29 ppg, 6 apg and 6 steals per game I decided to call a friend who played D-1 ball at Eastern Michigan and who follows Michigan high school ball very closely. He felt Hardy was the best guard in his class in Michigan and felt MSU and UofM made a mistake by not offering and compared Hardy to Kahil Felder out of Oakland University who was drafted in the 2nd round by the Cleveland last year. Both are lefties and big time scoring point guards. Except Hardy is bigger at 6'2" when compared to Felder at 5'9". He didn't know much about UNLV's guard situation but felt Hardy is D-1 ready.
