Very interesting this could have HUGE ripple effect.

Are they being selective or just running out of quality schools like the MW? Tulane and Memphis saying no really put the screws to them and then UNLV coming back and saying no really didI do not have blind faith in Gloria.
She has "promised" payouts that may not come to fruitiion. I think she got somewhat bullish with the PAC which probably soured any merger potential (both are culpable IMO).
I think she wants to look like we are "winning" by making additions, while the PAC isn't whole but I can't see how any of these schools will help our payouts. I think she is is just driving the price down.
I like the UTEP add. It made sense, and it looks like it sparked something in their athletic department
I like the GCU add. We need more basketball schools, and they could eventually add football, but they need to be FCS at least 5 years first.
UCDavis? Don't get that one.
I mean the PAC is doing everything to keep their payouts high, even to the extent that they are being very selective in their last addition.
I wish would would do the same.
Once we see both leagues' contact values our decision to stay is going to hurt a bit.
BSU's extra pay was between them and the MWC. I can't imagine they could hornswoggle a "Boise bonus" in the PAC. Times have definitely changed.Instead they will be playing in a muddied version of the MWC with a new label and are about to experience the pain of giving Boise competitive advantages financially.
I’m a harsh guy.I do.
We would have been far less effective in the run game.
Maiava puts the ball in danger a lot.
We finish with about the same record.
Hajj struggled down the stretch but saying he couldn't pass when he had a pretty high completion percentage and threw for around 2k yards in 9 games seems kinda harsh.
Somehow, in my mind, I see Arrigo reading this and saying **** you.Nice.
Won’t ever happen but it would be crazy to see Urban Meyer as Senior Advisor to the HC.
(Posted at 8:52 am, don’t steal my ideas Arrigo).
From my non -personal knowledge, I think it could happen. I mentioned this possibility right after Mullen was hired , given that he is close to Urban. Urban and his family would essentially get paid Vegas vacations.Nice.

Will the Rebels ever get to full strength? No.Football season is finally over and we can focus our attention on those Amazing Running Rebels. Kind of funny since turning our attention to bball used to happen mid-October. Times have changed!
Burning questions
Will the Rebels ever get to full strength?
Will we ever see a set 8 man rotation?
Will the Rebs win a game they aren’t supposed to?
How many head scratchers will they lose?
Will we ever pass the ball up court for a quick easy bucket?
Will CKK turn things around and return next year?
Does Harp have a list in his pocket?
Hard to say. I think we would had have at least one more win. Lets look at QB stats for the three losses.Amazing we won 11 games with qbs that were so bad at passing. Offense the year before was way better at consistently moving the ball. Our stats only look good cuz of the big plays we had this year.
Last years qb with this year's team? I think we would be undefeated and in Boises spot. Anyone think different?

Funny you mention Snyder, that IS the model that Harper keeps citing in his pressers when it comes to who he’s looking for or how the program should be run. Harper played under Snyder and knows who the real McCoy is when he’s interviewing coaches for the job. What an amazing run by this group of guys the past two years. My dad was a K-State grad back in the 60s, and they had the absolute worst program for 40 years till Bill Snyder turned them around. My dad finally got to watch his alma mater be relevant in football. As a UNLV grad and Vegas native, I feel this is the same path I've been traveling. Just waiting for the Rebels to awaken. I think that time might have officially come. What a time to be a Rebel football fan.
From my understanding, it was a singular big booster who was kicking and screaming for USU to move. There is a bit of a rift among the rest of the boosters on if the decision was a good one. That one was a bit of an impulse buy, lol.
That one was a bit of an impulse buy, lol.Utah State is not being selective.
Jury is still out on Chit.If he came back, UNLV would have two great kickers!
