Heres why I think he could really benefit from one more year at UNLV.
#1-me being selfish. I would love him and all these guys back for one more year. With the right coach they could really be special.
#2-in my opinion I don't think Zimm has figured out yet how to create space or passing lanes for himself.
I remember the first time I watched Larry Johnson play how amazed I was nobody that could move him once he got them pinned on his back. It was awesome, the defender was just stuck on his back and then Larry would create these great passing lanes for lay ups all the time. The only other Rebel I remember being really good at that was Armen Gilliam and if you remember those Rebel teams never ever went for five or six minute stretches with out scoring. Insted of always fleeging threes and depending on helter skelter game you could always throw the ball to one of those guys and get a bucket when you needed it.
With some work I think Big Zimm could be in the same class of those two Rebel all time greats.
I'm probably just being selfish though.
