Im taking great joy in watching these Wyoming service members have to do 50+ push-ups now.
Hope basketball is better than this crap. I'm gonna have to go get a masters degree somewhere so that I can say "I went to school at [insert school]" instead of "oh I went to school at UNLV"
He blitzed on 3rd down up 53-17... I really don't mind. If we're as severely unprepared a (after a bye week) and under coached as we are, that's not the Wyoming's coaches' fault.
Olbad had some good moments and some bad. Does not matter who is qb when your d cannot stop anyone. 53, could have been 60 tonight to a team averaging 25. Who will next coach be?
Really looking forward to the BSU game. I will not even follow this team for the rest of the season.
They'd have saved alot of money and made their friend a lot more money if they just paid him a million per year for five years to stay at Gorman. And his stock would be higher.
I honestly think that Tony's staff let him down big time. At this level, everything is predicated on your staff being competent enough to call up a solid game plan that plays to your strenghts. As a head coach at this level, you primarily deligate. Obviously, the men Tony deligated to were not up to the task.
Sure...
But...
He's not up to the task either.
There were 30 million reasons he was hired, and none of them were based on his innovative coaching mind
He is and a lot of it is his own doing.
He completely whiffed in recruiting the defensive side of the ball in the 16' class.
Those guys would be RS sophomores and juniors. The backbone of the defense.
You want to know why that defense continues to struggle..
Take a look at that class.
His track record with JUCO recruiting is spotty at best.
He and his staff had an extra week to prepare.
They failed.
I didn't get to watch the game on stream, but did Armani get hurt and that is why Oblad came in, or was Armani not moving the ball effectively?
According to Sanchez they planned to give Oblad the 2 minute drill.
He came out went 3 and out.
Armani came in for next series and got hurt.
Sanchez said he was cleared to play but they didn't like how he was limping..
