UNLV v UC Riverside (14-12 record) _UC wins 6-5

UC Riverside is a mid level team that plays a decent schedule which is the type of game that UNLV must win. I will try to find the score for the game and get it posted asap. I believe the game is at about 6 pm, so I may be gone for much of the game, but will get back and post when I can.

I see UCR beat #18 UCLA last week in their midweek game. UCR is probably one of the better teams on our schedule to date.

found out the UNLV pitcher was pulled from the game after being hit by the ball (think hit in the head).

UNLV runner tried to stretch from 1st in to home on a double and was caught at home. Two outs one runner on 2nd.

They took advantage of a very weak schedule.

They are struggling, and that is why the priority for next season is to bring in some good pitching. I am sure that coach Chambers will recruit the right players to upgrade the program, and they will continue to improve.
