The spikes in attendance in the mid 80’s to early 90’s, that was because of academic excellence. You gotta believe that academics forced that mega growth.

Nevermind that until into my major, it was high school review the first two years at UNLV.

Tark built the school. Not the professors, not the administration, and certainly not the vision of any president. One man, Jerry Tarkanian, forced rapid growth of the school.

I feel bad for these kids who are attending UNLV. I was hanging out at the Moyer Student Union waiting for dinner prices at the UNLV buffet.

All these kids dressed up in a cookie cutter UNLV shirt, same backpacks, waiting for the band to introduce Coach Odom.

Some kids are super cool. They were just like me but don’t have the world experience.

I hooked up a kid to be the film assistant with UNLV football. Showed him the link.

That was my dream job and go to road games for free and get UNLV gear.
