Lost in the melee the last few days is where did these rumors even start?? Is there actually something to the story or was it all wishful thinking, or agenda pushing?
I mean, something obviously has to give because basketball can't just keep losing (games and money) like it has been... but I'm just curious if there really was contact with Pitino, as all your "sources" here have said, or not?
Also, does somebody have a breakdown of Menzies' contract?? Wasn't his contract for 3 years, because a 5 year would've had to go through the regents....something like that? Is his contract up this year?
