Should Palandech take the Caleb Herring philosophy?

With Stanton now the #1 QB, Palandech is still expected to see time both as a backup and perhaps in certain game situations.

But since Palendech is the third fastest player on the team in the 40 and he knows all the receiving routes, and since UNLV is suddenly short a receiver... and since receiving coach Cedric Cormier was around when QB Caleb Herring decided to play receiver to get more time on the field....

I know it's a long shot, but does anybody see it as a realistic possibility?

No. While he is fast , not sure his athletic skills translate.

I think Woods and Presley will be up for the task to fill in for Keys. We also might see more of Price and Holt lined up in the slot.

I've been out of town and out of the loop. What happened to Keys?

If he wants to play WR and the coaching staff felt he could contribute sure.

However I think Kurt believes he is good enough to play QB and wants to be a QB.

As for Herring, it isn't like he did a lot as a WR. I do think it actually helped him as a QB his senior year. His decision making and anticipation was so much better.
