Prayers for the Massimino family.

I know he didn't do what we wanted him to do but he had a tough act to follow. When asked about the animosity that the Las Vegas fans had towards him his infamous quote was "It's just basketball!" didn't sit well with many fans because back then UNLV basketball was the glue that held a united community together.

Rollie was a good man and a good coach.

Please no negative comments. I actually thought the "it's only basketball" comment made sense in the context of the moment. My memory was that he had just learned that his young grandson or other relative had just been diagnosed with a very serious ailment. In that context, basketball isn't so important.
