Anyone watch? I had to work so didn’t see it. I did find that he ran a 4.61 40. Kinda slow, isn't it?

It’s definitely concerning. He’ll probably retest the 40 during the UNLV pro day. He’s faster than that 4.6 time. He did have a great set of skill drills today though. He showed good positioning, and soft hands. He caught everything.

He wasn't ever a speed WR so I don't think it's terribly concerning unlike Tez Johnson. He's a bigger bodied possession WR and he showed well during skill portion I believe
Yeah, 4.6 is slow but if I remember correctly, Jerry Rice ran a bad time too but went on to greatness!
No one is drafting Ricky for his speed. They’ll be drafting him for his route running.
By the way, Kyle Williams looked really good. However, looked like he may have gotten hurt halfway through the drills.
There was also content showing him jukingbthe DBs numerous times during the combine. Its his ability to change directions and accelerate quickly that make him so hard to cover, not the top end speed
That's what made DeJesus so dangerous. He was more quick than he was fast. But the change of direction was effortless and instantaneous. Unfortunately for DeJesus and White, neither of them were physical enough to beat double coverage, or hang with a DB that was being physical.
In White's case, he'll end up on an air raid/ spread team and be fine. He has enough film out there that someone is going to take a shot with him. His route running was fantastic during the combine. He is much more of a finesse guy than a punch them in the face type of guy. Not saying that White isn't willing to throw down, but that's not what is going to make him money.
