Rich Abajian Football Kickoff Luncheon to Launch the 2016 Season

The UNLV Alumni Association is proud to host a spirited kickoff to the 2016 season of Rebel Football featuring Head Coach Tony Sanchez. Coach will give alumni and fans an in-depth look at this year's team as well as highlight key players and staff.
This event has been named in memory of Rich Abajian, former UNLV assistant football coach. He served as assistant coach from 1977 to 1981. A driving force behind the creation of the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame, he was inducted into the hall in 2008. The general manager and co-owner of Findlay Toyota was a longtime supporter of UNLV sports.
