The Rebel fandom lost a good man. Mike(Doc) Clauretie the other night after a battle with leukemia , There were few bigger Rebel fans than Doc and his family. He was along time UNLV Professor who took the job over other schools after seeing the fireworks at one of the early Rebel games.
Cheers Doc you will be missed. Go Rebels.

Haven’t seen him in a while, in fact last time I bumped into him was a Baskin Robbin with his granddaughter.

He was a good guy, always around Rebel events. Hosted some things at his home, invited lots of us. Travelled with the team sometimes. Was at a lot of UNLV practices, in fact, he and Hank hanging together watching practices was one of my early memories of attending UNLV practices in 1999-2000.

Many here know him.

He has a great family, Patty, Sean and Kevin …

Doc will be missed.

He used to post here as bostonflash.
