for UNLV to make the BCS playoff we would have to beat Boise twice. Would be awesome but dont think we are there yet.Now we are pissed if we don’t make the BCS playoffs. That’s a tremendous jump in record time.
F the slow growth bullspit.

No, we aren’t there yet. But the opportunities that have been presenting themselves have been a lot of fun.for UNLV to make the BCS playoff we would have to beat Boise twice. Would be awesome but dont think we are there yet.
I dont think UNLV need him for this game. Just need to work on the Red Zone offence. Unleash the Kraken! What’s the status on McDuffie??? Really could use him this weak
What is this BCS playoff everyone keeps mentioning? Didn’t the BCS die like a decade ago?for UNLV to make the BCS playoff we would have to beat Boise twice. Would be awesome but dont think we are there yet.
Yeah when I heard that in studio ref say that it made me wonder if he was drinking they NEVER call legs getting tangled a penalty. Ki way in hell that was a penalty. They're not calling the legs getting tangled, they never do.
Especially on the last play of the game...Yeah when I heard that in studio ref say that it made me wonder if he was drinking they NEVER call legs getting tangled a penalty. Ki way in hell that was a penalty.
Don't blame the uni's because of that cheap beer you buy. But, there is some truth in there as our QB threw a beautiful pass to three OSU defenders. I can't imagine what colors he was looking at.Morning Rebels. Took me until now to get my damaged corneas and retinas to focus after that visual attack on them last night. Good and quite entertaining game. Good luck against Boise Junior College and Trucking School.
P.S. I see UNLV is at #26 in the AP poll. 2 points ahead of my Cougs.
When we had a player (DeJesus?) wide open on the opposite side of the field, like no one within 30 yards of him. If Hajj is just gonna throw it up, why not into an area where the only human is a Rebel.Don't blame the uni's because of that cheap beer you buy. You're right. I saw an open Rebel on the other side of the field. WIDE open. I'm not sure who it was. When we had a player (DeJesus?) wide open on the opposite side of the field, like no one within 30 yards of him. Agree. Not the best play call or if you are going to pass, make it something simple like a screen.I don't understand why we had a pass play called at all... Run the ball and force them to use the last Timeout. Then punt. It's not hard. Our 2 valid criticisms for this staff is redzone/short yardage play calling, and end of half/game situation with clock... seriously, they either burn 30 seconds by letting you punt or use last TO which keeps their QB in the pocket instead of being able to run...
I'd rather get mediocre performance and dumb plays out of the way before Friday, so I guess no harm, learn from your mistake. Can't make those vs BoiseAgree. Not the best play call or if you are going to pass, make it something simple like a screen.
But it was compounded by an awful decision. I realize Ricky does everything but he had no shot of being a DB on that play.
Even an incompletion gives them the same clock but 30-40 yards worse starting position. A run, which would have been better, a forced TO and 30-40 yards of position.
TBH, I probably keep the ball in Hajj’s hands with a designed run, don’t even risk the exchange or option toss.
I realize a first down effectively ended the game.
