Huge win! We were clearly the better team. Turn some of those fg’s into TD’s, and this game would’ve been a blowout
That was way too close for comfort! At least the ball bounces UNLV's way more often than in the past when that would have been a 100% lost game.
That's right! Funny that "rules analyst" or the refs didn't address that.

Dunno. Multiple “just make this one play” against Cuse. Theoretically, UNLV is top 15 with “just one play”.
No, I’m not stupid. We aren’t top 15, we are very solid, top 30.
Two dropped interceptions and one missed 4th down tackle from being undefeated and definitely ranked in the top 15. Crazy to think about.
What Odom has done, Before Odom any win by the football team and i am estatic. Now in his second year we get a win and im a bit upset we made too many mistakes and complain it shouldnt have been that close. No unranked team has gone into OSU and won since 2020 and we do it. Good win. Very glad Odom has me caring about UNLV football!
Heart was pounding the entire game. That Hajj interception about put me down for good. Thank God we won.

Agree, but also I don't think he has enough time to snap and spike and he tried to rush a play that probably ends up incomplete anyways... they weren't set and the receivers all thought he was spiking the ball and weren't running routes
Oregon got called for 1 penalty. 1. I saw holding, hands to the face and pushing in the back. We are not getting the calls that would of made it a easier win. Let's not talk about the Cuse game
It’s a good lesson in raised expectations probably before fruition.
Wins. Recruiting. Competing against good teams. All raise expectations.
I’m pissed when UNLV football wins but doesn’t pay up to par. That’s insane given our history. I try to step back, but get consumed.
UNLV is clearly a better team than OSU, that’s pretty obvious from the game. But our entire season could have been up in smoke by a few bad plays at the end of this game. Lately it seems when the game is “in hand” this team down shifts a few gears. They weren’t like this under Odom and it doesn’t align with how he leads the team. However, he’s “taken the air out of the ball” a few times this season and it seems to have created a mentality among the players that they can coast thru the rest of a game. Two scores with 4+ min on the clock is not a huge lead. It likely won’t be relevant to our next game, but I hope he and staff address this.
My best guess is that the headlines and the line judge had different calls. I saw the headlines running in signaling snap infraction, and it seemed like since they couldn’t get a clear consensus so the line judge might have had encroachment. So the white hat made the call to just run it back.

Up to par a few year ago was winning 4 or more games a season!
Now we are pissed if we don’t make the BCS playoffs. That’s a tremendous jump in record time.
