Not sure that it can get any worse.

Im not too overly concerned.

1) Its temporary. Muss wont be there forever.
2) They wont just be beating on us, they'll be beating on everyone.
3) Provided they beat on OOC teams, its good for the conference.

Can’t worry too much about others anyway. You do everything that you can do to be the best you can be. That’s what you control. You don’t control Kentucky, Duke, Kansas or gasp, UNR when they are top 10.

Worry about your own house before the neighborhood.

1 and done anyway...Our prior 5 star guys did little for us.

In this case, surrounded by 2 and 3 yr veterans of Mussleman's system Jordan Brown will be in a much better position to be an impact player unlike our situation with Rice and Menzies where our 5-star players always seem to be surrounded by other noobs.

I can't disagree with that. However, I prefer 4 year guys that are 3 - 4 stars and have a good work ethic....

After our experience with one-and-done 5 star players, me too.
Perhaps.

But what happens if you have 3 and 4 stars that don’t have success?

Doesn’t hurt nearly as much because you never expected much. But it’s still not fun.

I’d rather have a crushing let down because we fell well short of a high target than missing a low target by a little bit.

I would like to believe that If a recruit was successful in high school, has a good work ethic and is coachable, success at the college level is a biproduct of the aforementioned.
