I hope UNR hires an awful coach because I'm starving for payback. I really don't care about the good of the conference or having a 'healthy' rivalry. I hope their 2 young big men follow Musselman too. God I hate them after that petty show back in Menzies 1st year. FUNR.

I don't think they'll get another coach of Musseman's quality. Hopefully the Rebels can start beating Reno on a regular basis again

I wasn't sure about the talk that he had come to UNLV and they were not interested, but when I see that he is getting $2.5 million at Ark. and my understanding is that for the right coach the boosters would pony up to around $2.8 million, it is more believable that they turned him down. In the case of TJ, I think we got a bargain, and UNLV boosters can always anti up if he ends up being a really good coach.

Unfortunately recent history indicates UNR hires excellent value coaches and post-Tark, UNLV overpays for mediocrity - Lon Kruger a notable exception.

Mark Fox, Trent Johnson, and now Eric Musselman to name a few. There are probably others that went on to payday schools too.
