It was mentioned awhile back that one of the staff might be picking up extra duty. Well, it looks like it may have happened, when is the question. Fresno State announced they hired him yesterday.
Jimmy Morimoto was the Director of Player Personnel for the Rebels. He is still listed on the UNLV coaches list so I'm kind of scratching my head.
On side note, Jimmy had a stroke over the summer and required a medical leave. This was reported in the newspaper and or on Twitter so I'm not devulging any private information.
Morimoto was a hold over from prior staff but has been with university since 2007. Probably an anticipated change where Sanchez can bring in one of his guys. Based on prior post, Slutak will pick up his duties?
