Miava to start for USC.

Miller Moss isn't that good. Neither is Lincoln Riley.

Will be interesting to see what Maiava can do. My guess is not much better than Moss. That program is broken.

If you are going to make a change this is when you do it. SC struggling, bye week, followed by a home game against Nebraska who just lost at home to UCLA and whose QB1 is banged up although as of now expected to be back for SC.

I'm so glad someone else says this out loud. The narrative "he puts QBs in the NFL" is such an overplayed statement. Wrong. He puts NFL bound college players into the NFL. Congrats!!!
I sort of see it the same way. Like I do with Dave Roberts - Dodgers. A blind squirrel could lead the Dodgers to 90+ wins every year with the best talent. And if you can't win at USC, you just simply suck. That said, I'm super stoked Sarkisian has turned his career around.

Considering the OU success it's hard to understand how he has been such a bust so far.

This year- Big 10 and Big 12 proving to be tougher than the Pac 12 ever was. Grass isn't greener for a lot of these Pac 12 teams.. Utah, Arizona, getting beaten down in Big 12, USC, UW, UCLA, all getting beat down in Big 10. Only school relatively competitive in the standings is Oregon.

Should have never left Oklahoma. It’s much different keeping a program rolling that building one up. It’s crazy more people haven’t figured that out. Wasn’t exactly a world beater anyway. Seemed to always lose a game or two he shouldn’t have. Good college offenses with elite playmakers. That’s about it.

Yeah other than Oregon the rest haven't translated well so far. OU was the class of that conference lately anyway so no surprise they are doing well. BYU doing well in the Big 12 too. Ironically all the new teams in both the Big 10 and 12 are underachieving except two and those two are in first place.

UW lost 20 of 22 starters and their head coach and coaching staff
Utah QB1 out for season
Arizona not sure what happened here they were expecting a good yearhaven’t paid attention other than lost head coach.
SC lost Caleb Williams. Beat LSU should have beat PSU talent not the issue at SC
UCLA was bad last year and have a new coach

With the exception of UofA not really a surprise the others are down from last year when the PAC was pretty good.

I have zero feelings about it.

He doesn't play for UNLV any longer.

No hard feelings.

No I hope he does well.

I'm indifferent.
I don't care that much, but I'd like to see him do well.

He has Vegas ties beyond just UNLV. He was a big part of our successful season last year which was big for us. I have no ill feelings for him leaving, even though he said he was staying, because I get it. So yeah, I am pulling for the kid.

But if he falls on his face, then oh well. Not devastated. Either way he wasn't the best fit here, at least with Marion on the OC.

I don’t know that we are better off without him, don’t know that we’d be better with him, maybe, maybe not. So different than Hajj. Not different better, not different worse.

If it were my kid in his position, given that he isn’t going to make money as a pro …. I’d absolutely advise him to take the very significant NIL raise and go to USC. Make the money while you can because that window will close.

But I don’t care whether wins or loses with USC. If I see any of his play, it’ll be because of channel flipping and it catches my eye and there will curiosity. But not the type of curiosity that has me looking at kickoff time and channel.

On this same topic, google Miller Moss’s mom and check her out on X. Emily Kovner Moss.

First off she is a MILF, she also has her undergrad from Stanford and Masters from Yale.

I normally don’t think it’s a good idea for family of players to engage on Social Media, but she is just roasting dudes and it’s awesome.

Anybody that would not take the 650,000 I believe he got is just lying to themselves. If we were in that position to be USC everyone would be on board. Don't hate the player hate the game.

Looked at some stuff.

Apparently fans are wanting a dual threat since Moss doesn’t move well.

If Maiava moving well is a huge upgrade, is moss an actual statue? I don’t think Maiava is horrible with running, but from what we saw, he “gets by” with some options and small scrambles, but I wouldn’t look at him as someone who runs/moves well either.

He looked a bit more trim and athletic when I saw a few of his reps at USC this year. So maybe he has a little more athleticism in his game now?
