Not saying how I view him is true by any means, but what would those wins have to do with his character? Having Odom as HC and the right transfer players has had a much bigger impact than a mediocre play caller. Except for the occasional offset 2-back set, the plays are no different than what other open offenses are running. In fact, I'd say the passing portion in his offense is mid. His offense is replaceable. And I know we never got true clarification about the Sluka "promise" of $$ from a coach during recruitment but it's "rumored" Marion was the guy, which in MY mind, added to the "vibe." Just to be clear again: I don't know Marion nor ever met him and have no information that Marion is the guy to promise Sluka.
