2025 commit Yasir Muhammad appears to be staying a Rebel. This is a good keep.

We have a nice NIL budget now time to spend itJust stuff thrown at the wall.
I'd ask the writer; what connection does he have to Martyn? The branch bros were easy to connect because of Gorman but that's a pipe dream.
Not impressed with that, leaving UNLV and ending up at Tx St, doesn’t seem like an upgrade or big NIL package to end up there.
Wish Greg the best of luck, but with him being a local and future star here, this hurts a bit.
Maybe promised feature back with 20+ carries a game or something then reenter portal again next year after chance to really show himselfNot impressed with that, leaving UNLV and ending up at Tx St, doesn’t seem like an upgrade or big NIL package to end up there.

Well, if he is in town on a visit to UNLV that is great.Former commit Cornelius Warren is fresh off of a state championship and is in currently in Vegas. Take that how you want....
An odd decision
That tells me he didn't think he was going to play much this coming season by moving down to Texas State.

Really Texas State?? Are we spending our new $5M budget so far? Or saving it for something big? Maybe RB not as big of a need in his offense?

Obviously not many programs want him if he takes a couple of steps down from a top 25 program to a top 50-75 programReally Texas State?? Are we spending our new $5M budget so far? Or saving it for something big? Maybe RB not as big of a need in his offense?

Texas States best RB transferred to U of A gotta open up ton of carries for BurrellMust be a number of touches thing with Burrell. Lots more at TX St and lots more competition at UNLV.
It means he doesn't think he could make it at UNLV. I guess it is a good thing that the quality of players continues to improve!Texas States best RB transferred to U of A gotta open up ton of carries for Burrell
I’m going to make a bold prediction that we will have at least 2 🐊 transfer wr next year.

I was wondering when I saw that too. However, Haj Malik Williams did the same. Declaring for the draft, despite not having any eligibility left. I don't know the rules of the NFL draft, but maybe you have to declare in order to be in consideration to be drafted, even if you're a graduate???Did AD have another year left??
yeah, already paying dividends to retain these guys. Then hopefully can coach them up to correct some of the early game weaknesses we saw that late in games were able to eventually push teams aroundThe addition of the OL assistant coach from Ohio State proved helpful for some of these guys to stay. Clearly Mullen is trying to retain a core and add to it, not all that different than what Barry did in 2023.
My thinking is:
Between this and the rumors of their wr coach coming here, we might be able to snag a few.
