How bout the Huntridge? That used to be the spot for local concerts. Until the roof caved in.

They spent millions to fix the roof and everything else at the building, and they have done almost nothing with it since then.

When I was a kid (in the 80s) we went to the old Red Rock theater on Charleston and Decatur. Next to it was a knife store with ninja stars and samurai swords in the window. Oh how the imagination raced!

That was great back in the day. Remember seeing a lot of them there, Andre, Hulk, Baron… so cheesy but fun.

It's supposed to be a centerpiece of the Maryland Parkway revitalization project. Only reason I can see it's still around

It was rebuilt over a decade ago and funded from federal and state funds when the made the movie theater a historical landmark. It wasn't connected to any other development, and in my opinion was a big waste of money.
