It will be interesting to see once UNLV builds the Fertitta Football Complex, and once the new 65K seat stadium is built and UNLV is bowling every year, to see how many local kids will make up a typical UNLV recruiting class. Lately UNLV has been keeping about 4 or 5 prospects home each class, but there's definitely enough local talent to realistically start keeping 12 to 14 once UNLV establishes itself as a college football destination and more and more locals want to play for the Vegas fans.

Farrell Hester, Greg Francis, Marckell Grayson...these guys are leading by example right now. But I think the time will come when 10 or more Vegas kids in a class will become normal.

I remember seeing him against Kahuku, he wasn't afraid to get into the mix and fight the linemen

The fact we've gotten multiple recruits from Gorman the last couple of years speaks volumes! The #1 team in the nation three years running has players. Add to that other the other local schools that are strong every season (DP, Liberty, etc) and that can create a serious recruiting base here in the valley.
