People will read into it what they will. I believe it's pretty straight forward as a tweak at Swoopes which seems fair. But instead of being all crazy about, it would be cool if those involved would have some fun with it. At the end of the day, much ado...

Found a way again, feels like the struggle of taking everyone’s best shot is taking a toll. FTs, 3pt shots are all hard to come by. Doesn’t feel like the team is having fun right now.

The last 4 games, the Lady Rebels are only averaging 62.5 Points per Game.
We average 78.8 PPG, for the year.
Our, defense has been pretty good. It's our offense, that needs to pick it up.
 
My guess is the statute of limitations was getting close so it had to be filed. I don't necessarily feel that this making ESPN is "in a bad way" so to speak. I'm pretty sure she would have much rather have this filed after the season. Seems like she could use some support or at least for it not to be a distraction.

until the season is over?
But, if she had a time limit. She, had to do it immediately.

Swoopes walked it back, said she made a mistake and reached out to Clark and that they had a good conversation. Glad she realized the mistake and made amends. Seems as if we could more of that these days.

Any of you guys got Caitlyn Mania?

Tremendous talent. I can see some of the criticism of her at the next level. I hope she stays and doesn’t go pro. She will make more money in college now than possibly be regular in the WNBA.

The hype reminds me of Jimmer.

Clark, is a Midwestern girl. So, it is a perfect match, for her.

She, still has a covid year left. If, she comes back.
UNLV, could be a Pre-season Top 25 team. And, will be Lindy's best team in her 5 year's here.

caught the post interview on Fox as my roomate doesn’t like to watch women’s basketball. At least Desiree robbed about the “rivalry”

Winning is too easy for this team. Worried about our coach being poached. We have a good product and our brain dead city doesn’t seem to care.

The worry about losing staff could be warranted. Wish more would show up for this team. 3 in a row and <2000 in the seats? In a city of over a million.

I know, it's no excuse but Lady Rebs have to compete with Stanley Cup Champs, Vegas Golden Knights.
Also, compete in Nov./Dec., the Las Vegas Raiders.
Vegas, isn't a small sports town anymore, unfortunately.

If we want to keep Lindsey at UNLV then donate your hard earned dollars to UNLV Women's Basketball. Keeping her will be a good business decision as the NCAA in the next few years are going to start paying Tourney units for the Women's Basketball. Harper needs to pay her and her staff more money.
 
I've been donating to them for over 20 years. Last year they had the Pledge per Three which I liked. It's going again this year.

So far this season it's 198 made 3-pointers. Last season it was 214. Crazy to think they are going to surpass that and I think that was a program best last season.

Lindy said there's more celebrations and trophies to come. Hopefully she means more than just this season.

That's on the conference as it always is. Just glad they're getting votes to stay near or in the top 25.

Seton Hall thrashed this team and is 15-12 and stands at 66 in NET rating. The Arizona & Oklahoma wins are the threads keeping this team near the top 25 and both are above UNLV in the NET rating.

If UNLV had played Oklahoma at UNLV, they would have won by 20-30!

I don't know man, I don't think the UNLV vs OU argument holds that much water.

OU has 4 wins against ranked opponents. 3 of those were top 12, one of those was #2 in the country.

UNLV has zero wins against ranked (at the time) opponents.

Is UNLV better? Straight up they were for sure. But has UNLV earned their ranking over OU? Probably not. Its hard to use H2H match ups for rankings. You have to look at the whole picture.

Better record for sure, but it hurts when the rest of the conference is a far step below most power conferences.

Agree, the MWC doesn't have an equivalent team, to the Lady Rebels.
That is why, I was hoping that Oregon St and Washington St, joined temporarely the MWC.
That, obviously didn't workout. So, the remaining 10 teams, need to get better.
UNLV's Net ranking is 34. The next closest Net ranked team is Colorado St at 98.

We, need at least 2 to 3 other teams, to be in the 75 to 40 Net.
In, order for these writers, to take this conference serious.
 
Beat Boise by 6. Behind much of the game. A strong 4th quarter let them eek out a win.

Real slow start, PGs Jackson & Kimpson struggled with their shots early. Desi only had 5 at half. One thing about this team, they've been in a bunch of close games so they know how to battle through and they have a loaded bench that allows that.

This team is so much fun to watch.

Almost as much fun as watching Scrub dance with Desi's aunt.

Bruh you know who f’n sucks? The ushers at the UNLV game. Bunch of bitches. Especially the white tall guy, the entire people who had to pick up my popcorn as We won sitting behind the UNLV bench. I had 4 beers and a Gatorade, dollar popcorn and the ushers complained about it. You know who the **** they are.
 
I was freak dancing with a black queen who looked like Queen Latifah behind the Rebel Bench.

And I yelled “ Go Kierra Jackson” and she heard on the court.

They seem to struggle against teams with multiple taller players. If they are going to get wins in the NCAA's they will need to up their perimeter game to open the post. 21% from three won't cut it in the dance.
