Kobe Jenkins Decommits

Not really a loss. He wasn't really recruited by anyone else, he was also one of the lowest rated recruits (only had a 5.2 2* rating for rivals which would put him as the lowest rated player in the class), which will actually increase the average rating of the class with him gone. I expect he was most likely one of those players that the coach told would not be coming to UNLV and just wanted to save face.

Seems like he was encouraged to explore other options.
Usually that's the case with something like this. If it's a high level recruit, usually they are trying to find greener pastures and a coaching change is an opportune out. When it's lower level guy or an unproven/unheralded, he was asked to bolt.

Decent people/coaches allow the kid to decommit to save face. No reason to embarrass anybody, help the kid land on his feet if he needs it.

He is pretty much identical in height, weight, and CB position as our newest commit Nohl Williams.
