Two UNLV players, Mike Hughes and Blake Decker are both performing extremely well in school. Good for them and it's great to have them represent UNLV on the COSIDA Academic All-District Team.
Student-athletes who make the most of their education are to be commended and it's great to see the team's overall academic performance continue going up under the guidance of Coach Sanchez and his staff. Academics are a high priority for this staff and I know UNLV has recently invested additional resources to help support the football players academically.
