UNLV started off at 100/1 in April and moved up to 80/1 now.

NO other team in the MW conference is even close to us besides SDSU @75/1. UNM is@ 200/1

looks like Kansas, Maryland, and the UK are the favorites to win it all at 5/1

Followed by first Duke 6/1 then UNC 7.5/1, then Virginia 9/1

opponents (and possible). Indiana 25/1, AZ 20/1, AZ state 100/1, Wichita State 15/1, Vandy 165/1, UCLA 75/1, SDSU is 75/1, Oregon is 85/1..the only other teams listed in the MW are SDSU and UNM

the big trend mover since April and now is Cal going from 100/1 to 15/1...I guess because of their late signings. So you can take all those "way too early top season top 25 predictions and throw them out the window.

Looks like the rankings will start off (my guess with the preseason mags coming out soon for the top 25). with UNC #1, well everybody knows Roy bends the practice requirements preseason and always starts off strong. Followed by Maryland because they are more of vet team I can see them coming in at #2, UK #3, KU #4 UK #5 Virginia #6, Duke #7, Wichita State #8 (vet ball team) AZ #9, OK #10, Cal #11, Indiana #12, Zags #13, Michigan State #14, Purdue#15, Notre Dame #16, Louisville #17, Florida state #18, LSU #19, Michigan #20, Iowa State #21, Baylor#22, Miami #23, NC state #24, Villanova #25. Texas is the wildcard....might not make a preseason poll with a new coach but should find themselves in the top 25 a couple weeks in the season

UNLV will come in ranked about the 60th best team in the country preseason
