If we can get those three "must" wins as T.E. described - FSU, CSU, Wyo - we will be in great shape. But, as stated, the Rebels need to establish a true home field advantage above and beyond mere location, and that begins with the home opener. If we can put on a dominant, entertaining display in a big win, that will set an important tone, not only for the season as a whole, but with the potential home crowds. That said, does the requirement still exist to win at least seven games if one of the wins is against an FCS team? I realize if things are like last year, where there weren't enough qualified bowl teams, that that would probably be the first thing out the window, but I was just wondering if we would need to shoot for seven wins instead of six to go bowling.

BTW, nice write-up, T.E. Thanks!

No 6 games would put us at Bowl Eligibility. Only time you need 7 is if for some reason you played 2 Lower division teams or 13 regular season games (When we play away at Hawaii for instance they allow that possibility).
