Enthusiasm Growing at UNLV

I thought this article was worth posting. There's no question Coach Sanchez has done more to change the culture at UNLV in year 1 than what the previous two coaches did over the past 10 years. Coach Sanchez is moving the program in the right direction and the community is beginning to notice.

Sanchez is the man. We only have three wins, but I haven't moved on to basketball yet. He'll get it done.

I have a lot of faith in CTS, and I'll tell anyone willing to listen, even up here in Bronco Nation. And, even though it might not be obvious to many people because there have been few to no major announcements or obvious upgrades, donations are flowing into the program. That Tempo system they use at practice is one of only a few dozen in use around the country, no matter the level. That sucker wasn't cheap and it was paid for by a benefactor. There's a lot of support staff on the payroll that wouldn't be there if the funding didn't somehow show up. Assistant pay is better. They aren't looking at analog CRTs in the office spaces anymore, it's all HD big screens. Suffice it to say, a lot of the infrastructure of the program has been addressed. Lots of little things, too. It all goes towards a more solid foundation. If I moved back to LV you'd have a hard time keeping me away from the program!
