I sometimes pop on the am radio on the way to the game and on the way out of the Mack. On the way in yesterday, it was Sanchez’s show and I guess after the game, it’s Sandler and Smith’s wrap up but no “Rebel Extra” or whatever it’s called. Apparently Cofield’s pre and post game shows no longer have sponsors interested in footing the bill so the show had to be cancelled.
I think it used to be BAR and Findlay. But they’ve tried to get others, but no takers. I have no idea what a sponsorship actually costs, I cannot imagine it’s very expensive - but if you own a business or work at a business with a budget for this sort of thing, you might want to take advantage of it. I have a meeting later this week with some people at St Rose since they already do some adverts with UNLV.
