There has been very little news on Goodluck Okonoboh since his reported visit to ASU six weeks ago. In that time the spring semester has started and there have been no reports of him attending classes anywhere. Also in that time the coach that demoted him at UNLV was removed.

Where will he pop up next? Has anybody heard anything?

Will he go pro, either here or overseas?

Is he waiting to see if ASU gets Thon Maker?

Is he waiting to see who will be UNLV's next coach?

Do you really want a guy who was recruited over, but not willing to battle for his minutes? Or was his leaving all about the coach?

I wish him goodluck wherever he goes.

I'm sure he is regretting his decision by now. He would be getting 30 minutes a game if he were still on the roster.

I didn't criticize him for leaving. Nothing wrong with doing what he felt was best for his future. Wished him well.

That said, absolutely no way he should be allowed back. Walk away from your teammates, stay gone.

My guess is we see him pop up somewhere within 300 miles or so.

We just beat Indiana and he bolted on his teammates. Something else was going on with that deud?. I would take him back if his head was in it. Him, Ope, and Thon; The Swat team.

What is this nonsense? What's your next thread, will Katey Reinhardt transfer back to UNLV lol
I predicted ASU, but Okonoboh is a different situation than other transfers have been. He was released by the end of the fall semester, which would have meant he would be eligible to play D1 elsewhere if he had enrolled there by the start of the spring semester. But if he has enrolled somewhere it has not been reported. If he has not then if he returns to UNLV he could play this fall, and if he does not he won't be able to play until fall of 2017, which would be two years off. I have no idea what the guy's motivations are, but whoever becomes the next coach still has the option whether to ask him back.

I hear where you're coming from... the guy has dropped off the radar completely.

i was gonna say something stupid like, eh what if he was willing to be a walk on....blah blah

but ive been wondering about this guy for quite a few weeks now too. i dont know the circumstances as to why he left. it was assumed minutes, but there could be more to this. why else wouldnt he want to play? there was a lot of talk about moving back home or at least closer to family, and i never found that he had visited a school outside of arizona state. either way, hope the kid is doing okay. it was a pretty big downer when he left. cant help but believe there was something more pulling him away.
