Coach Kruger somehow has managed at least 22 HOME losses in his brief 3 and a half year stint. That’s hard to do if you tried. And also, Henley is our #1 backup point guard?? He can’t dribble, can’t penetrate, can’t dish, and can’t push the ball upcourt. Mindboggling that this is best option. Going to a game and watching the Rebs is about as fun as going to the dentist. We play THE most boring basketball, it’s sickening. Thanks Kevin.

As much as he is paid to coach, I have no issue with openly attacking him, even on the UNLV basketball Facebook page. Considering the players not only get all expenses covered, including their education, and NIL money, I also have no issue with openly criticizing them!

That’s where the flawed roster comes into play.

Every team is going to take a hit when their best player goes down, especially point guard. UNLV 90 doesn’t win as they did if Greg is out for the year. If Marcus Banks goes down, Spoon wins 12 per year.

We don’t have a backup PG and we developed nobody, DJ was playing so many minutes.

The number of home losses have been insane. When you lose at home at the atmosphere as is, with chants for TOTS, you really are shopping at The Dollar Store.

I thought the team fought pretty well without him. Hero ball in the last 2 minutes, Rishwain was awful. Really killed momentum. In the end, it’s just another loss. The new benchmark is trying to stay above 500 for the year. That we won’t qualify for an NIT or CIT or CSI or BFD tournament is better because you can “officially” get on with the search for the next coach.

Putting Henley at PG was a huge mistake. It took away his rebounding, it took away his ability to score by moving off the ball and as Born said he cant penetrate or dish. With that lineup I would have gone with Hill. He brings the ball up quicker and is a better passer.
The best option would have been to start Bedford over Hicks and told him to push pace, either draw the defense and pass or score. And be ready to play 38 minutes.
But what do I know but I am pretty sure we would have scored more than 53.
