I found Shaka Smarts evaluation of Donovan Williams during his freshmen year insightful. He pointed out that Williams was 17 years old when he started his freshmen year and was beginning to play well and was part of the rotation. Apparently, Williams suffered a knee injury towards the end of his freshmen year. Smart also commented on Donovan’s length and he has a 7 foot wing span. Also, his athleticism. I feel his knee surgery last summer slowed progression as a sophomore. If Donovan is healthy IMO and ready to go he could play a key role along with Hamilton and Victor I in a quick turnaround.
