I have been an avid user of this software for years run by many medical universities around the world, specifically Stanford who created it. It simulates the folding of proteins to better understand and create treatments and even cures for many cancers and diseases. Stanford and Folding@Home have since prioritized the work units to process COVID.

It takes literally 5-10 minutes to set up, and has been very successful. EVERYONE with a computer should run this. If you choose to do so, I will keep this post open and set notifications, please let me know if you need help.

Here are a couple videos, I highly recommend taking the time to watch them:

I've been using Rosetta@home. They have been doing protein modeling for a lot of diseases and recently seem like I'm getting a lot of work on the Covid-19 protein designs.

Rosetta@home runs through BOINC (Berkeley's Open Infrastructure Network Computing). BOINC has a lot of different projects. They started with SETI@home. SETI is actually stopping at the end of March so they can study and write a paper on what they've found so far.

My 8 cores are running 24/7.
