I'd guess they'd rather ask someone to take our coach and let us drift back to obscurity
I like our rating but having Georgia who just lost to Alabama 3 spots ahead of them makes no sense.
I wonder if this is the entirety of the schedule vs games played.
Georgia plays Texas on the road, Alabama does not play them this year.
Also with Houston and Kansas tanking, I doubt our SOS of games played is top 10 right now

I don’t understand how a team that lost to Georgia State, 0-3 in the Sun Belt, is ranked. Does that not matter?
I was just going to say the exact same. We would beat them by double figures on their home field 10 straight games.
Came in at #26 in the coaches poll, #28 (only received 5 points) in the AP.
Knocking on the door. Opportunity is there, team just has to go out and earn it.
Love how Vandy is ranked with a horrible loss 100% based on a win over a way overrated #1 Alabama. Now they play amazing to win over a great Ball State team 24-14, the same Ball State that lost 63-0 to James Madison. At least they can hang their hate on that close loss to powerhouse 2-4 Georgia State!
