Really? After hiring Tony Sanchez and Chris Beard? Talk to me in a year from now about this.
It's the circus surrounding the hires, not the hires themselves.
Who cares about the stuff surrounding the hires, which is mostly media driven, if they make the right hires, that's all that matters.

In all reality was it really a circus? Other than Cronin who did we really offer? Yes they talked to a few coaches but if they did not everyone would be yelling that they didn't try hard enough. Just because Twitter is the end all for information doesn't make it reliable. Nobody but a select few know what occurred during the search, but every ones an expert on the internet. I personally think that considering the financial condition we came out with a great option for coach.
Anything other than landing Pitino the day after his season ended was going to make people call this a circus.
It just might come to light that Cronin was really Jessup's pick. Maybe TKM was wanting Beard but had to bow down to the wishes of the President and when Cronin bailed she was able to get her choice in. We don't know the whole story and we might not ever.
She may want to call her "friends" in the media and talk. She's been so quiet up until now..
