I know people were probably not all that excited when UNLV got a commitment from Carlos Johnson since he was "only" a three star and UNLV gets 4 and 5 star kids very regularly.
I've yet to watch him work, but I heard taking his commitment was an absolute no brainer. As tough as they come, very coachable, and he's got power and skill. Non stop motor, makes no apologies for his rugged style and he's just a pit bull.
Also, it's going to be really tough because lots of people are after him but keep your eyes on PJ Washington at FP. UNLV is recruiting him hard and they're right in the mix.
